DESCRIPTION:Join the Illinois Alliance for Retired Americans for a regional education conference on Wednesday\, September 30th\, 2026 at the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 25 in Rock Island\, Illinois! \nThis all-day conference starts at 8:30 am with registration\, includes lunch\, and numerous speakers\, workshops\, and media-making that will be interactive and engaging for people of all ages. \nFocus areas include: Social Security\, Local Labor Actions\, Care Priorities (home care\, healthcare)\, and more! \nA boxed lunch will be catered from McAllisters Deli with a choice of Roast Beef\, Ham\, Turkey\, Chicken Salad\, Veggie\, or Club. Lunches include chips\, cookie\, pickle spear\, and a drink. \nSeveral Door Prizes will be given away! Must be present throughout the event to win! \nThis conference is hosted by Illinois Alliance for Retired Americans and sponsored through a grant from Caring Across Generations\, and there is no registration fee to attend. \nAll who support our mission\, of any age\, are invited to attend!
