DESCRIPTION:Join the Illinois Alliance for Retired Americans for a regional education conference on Wednesday\, September 23rd\, 2026 at IBEW 197 in Bloomington Illinois! \nThis all-day conference starts at 8:30 am with registration\, includes lunch\, and numerous speakers\, workshops\, and media-making that will be interactive and engaging for people of all ages. \nFocus areas include: Social Security\, Local Labor Actions\, Care Priorities (home care\, healthcare)\, and more! \nA boxed lunch will be catered from McAllisters Deli with a choice of Roast Beef\, Ham\, Turkey\, Chicken Salad\, Veggie\, or Club. Lunches include chips\, cookie\, pickle spear\, and a drink. \nSeveral Door Prizes will be given away! Must be present throughout the event to win! \nThis conference is hosted by Illinois Alliance for Retired Americans and sponsored through a grant from Caring Across Generations\, and there is no registration fee to attend. \nAll who support our mission\, of any age\, are invited to attend! Seating is limited to 100 participants! \nSomeone from the Illinois Alliance for Retired Americans will follow up with you closer to the event to ensure your participation and give you the agenda for the day!
